Mae L. Restemayer-Dahl

Mae Restemayer-Dahl age 67, of Hoople, ND died on Tuesday February 13, 2007, at her daughters home near Devils Lake, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church, Hoople, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services.
Mae L. Werven was born October 2, 1939, at Cavalier, ND to Matt and Mae (Martineau) Werven. She grew up and attended school in the Backoo area.
On December 31, 1956, she married Sterling Restemayer at Hallock, MN. After their marriage they lived in the Crystal and Hoople areas. Sterling passed away on June 7, 1991. She married Allen Dahl on September 14, 1990. Mae enjoyed gardening and any type of craft work.
She is survived by her children, Duane (Rhea) Restemayer, Edinburg, ND; Sterling (Jessica) Restemayer, Devils Lake, ND; Robert (Holly) Restemayer, Columbia City, IN; Stan Restemayer, Hoople, ND; Carrie (Barry) Atherton and Mark Restemayer, all of Devils Lake, ND; and Joe Restemayer, Maxwell, TX; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers, Donald Werven, Seattle, WA; Lawrence (Anna) Werven, Walhalla, ND; Matt (Janet) Werven, Backoo, ND; Gordon (Linda) Werven, Cavalier, ND; sisters, Evelyn (Don) Swift, Seattle, WA; Betty Hanson, Cavalier, ND; Luella (Joe) Latozke and Janet (Glenn) Watson, all of Cavalier, ND; and Lorraine Martinson, Crystal, ND.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Maurice Werven.
