Luella Trudel

Luella M. Trudel, 91, of Pembina, ND passed away Monday, October 22, 2012, at the Kittson County Memorial Healthcare Center, Hallock, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Assumption Catholic Church, Pembina, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, October 26th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial in the Pembina Cemetery.
Luella was born March 1, 1921, at Hamilton, ND to William and Rose (Harrington) O'Hara. She grew up in Hamilton area and graduated from Hamilton High School.
On September 12, 1940, she married Charles Z. Trudel at Pembina. After their marriage they farmed in the Pembina area. She also worked at the American Crystal scale house at Hamilton. In 1997, they moved to Fargo and in 2005, to Hillsboro, ND. Charlie passed away February 17, 2008. Lu enjoyed gardening, golfing, playing cards, and entertaining.
Survivors include her children: Duane (Judy) Trudel, Florence, AZ and Irene (Jim) Wallenberg, Lancaster, MN; grandchildren: Skipper (Stevie) Trudel, Sherri (Michael) Farrel, Michelle (Brad) Stensland, April (Roberto) de la Torre; Wes (Kris), Lester (Darla), Scott (Brenda) Wallenberg, Dawn (Neal) Kyono, and Mark Wallenberg; 16 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; infant son, Marvin Robert; great granddaughter, Stacey Wallenberg; sisters: Ella Gibney, Mary Connole, Loretta Keena, Rosabel Budde, Annie McEwen, Frances Reed, and Elizabeth Moberg; and brothers: Ed and Bob O'Hara.
Celebrants: Rev. Fr. Joseph Okogba and Rev. Fr. Bill DeCrans.
Music: Gwen Emerson, Organist.
Casket Bearers: Neal Kyono, Brad Stensland, Skipper Trudel, Lester Wallenberg, Mark Wallenberg, Scott Wallenberg, and Wes Wallenberg.
