Lorraine Brusseau

Lorraine Brusseau, 96, of Walhalla, ND passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, August 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Lorraine Verville was born April 22, 1915, at Walhalla, ND to Victor and Delia (Gastonguay) Verville. She grew up in the Walhalla area and attended school in Fremont Township.
On November 8, 1938, she married Romeo Brusseau at Walhalla. After their marriage they farmed in the Olga area. Romeo passed away on July 36, 1983. In July of 2005, she became a resident of the Pembilier Nursing Center.
She was a member of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church Altar Society, Walhalla Senior Citizens, and the Good Cheer Homemakers Club of Olga. Lorraine especially liked baking cookies for her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Rita Brusseau; and brothers, Wilfred, Art, and Arsene.

Music: Bernadine Kopf, Organist and Amy Carignan, Soloist.
Casket Bearers: Jay Brusseau, Jeff Brusseau, Mike Brusseau, Randy Carignan, Roger Carignan, and Jerry Mostad.
Honorary Pallbearers: All of Lorraine's Nieces and Nephews.
Gift Bearers: Art Brusseau and George Brusseau.
