Loretta M. Youmans

Loretta M. Youmans age 79 of Walhalla, ND died on Thursday, September 7, 2006, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.
Loretta M. Gagnon was born June 11, 1927, to Emil and Pomela (Desrosier) Gagnon. She grew up and attended school in Walhalla graduating from high school in 1946. Loretta then attended Aakers Business College in Grand Forks.
On June 10, 1948, she married James Merton Youmans at Walhalla, ND. They operated the Lorrayne Café for a couple of years. She was also a secretary at various businesses in Walhalla. Merton passed away on August 8, 2005.
She is survived by her children, Sheila Fracasso and Ronald Youmans both of Walhalla, ND; grandchildren, Amanda Fracasso, Joe Fracasso Theresa Pederson, and Ronald Youmans, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jammi Rae Fracasso, Christian and Crimson Pederson; brother, Rene (Violet) Gagnon, Oldessa, MO.
Loretta was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Maurice Gagnon and sister, Jeannie Marie Kittleson.
