Loretta Gapp

Loretta Gapp, 83, of Langdon, ND passed away August 5, 2007 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.

Loretta Knaus was born December 9, 1923 at Warsaw, ND to Margaret and Richard Knaus. She grew up and was educated in Warsaw. Loretta was united in marriage to Joseph George Gapp on April 29, 1941 at the St. Stanislaus church in Warsaw, ND. They made their home and raised their family in Langdon, ND. Joseph passed away December 27, 1968. Loretta went on to become head of Housekeeping at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital in Langdon until her retirement

She is survived by her children: Yvonne (Roman) Novak of Maryland; Jolene (Gene) Hoepfner of Fargo, ND; Donna Rae Gapp of Fargo, ND; Sonya (Donald) Heck of Langdon, ND, grandchildren; Preston Hoepfner, Natalie Gapp, Spencer Novak, Cordell Novak, Jeremy Gapp, Tharon Hoepfner, Teniell Hoepfner, Kayle Arens, Samantha Kendall, Latisha Kendall, Chase Heck, and step-grandchild Trich Stoa, 10 great grandchildren and her sister Denise.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son David, grandchildren Holly and Blaine, two sisters and one brother.

VISITATION will begin at 5pm with a 7pm prayer service at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon on Wednesday August 8, 2007.

SERVICES will be at 1:00 O �clock Thursday August 9, 2007 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND.
