Lola Long, 74, of Langdon, ND died Saturday, February 12, 2012 at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND.
Lola Ann Magnus was born November 7, 1937, in Langdon, ND, to Leonard and Ella (Peterson) Magnus. She attended school in Loam Township and Langdon. Lola was united in marriage to Bob Long on October 12, 1968 at the South Pembina Lutheran Church of rural Langdon, ND. They moved to Hannah in the spring of 1969 and lived in Linden Township on the Brignell farm. Bob and Willard Crockett worked together for many years and later Bob farmed on his own. Bob and Lola moved to Langdon 10 years ago. Bob passed away June 3, 2004, and Lola continued to make her home in Langdon. She became a resident of the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon in October of 2011. Lola didnââ¬â¢t have any siblings, but she enjoyed outings with relatives and friends. Lola loved animals and had many pets over the years.
Lola is survived by her uncles: Emmett and Otto Peterson, aunt: Alice Peterson, numerous cousins, Bobââ¬â¢s brothers and sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Lola was preceded in death by Bob and her parents, Leonard and Ella Magnus.
VISITATION will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 4 to 7pm at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon and also at the church on Wednesday from Noon until 2pm.
SERVICES will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the United Lutheran Church of Langdon, ND.
INTERMENT- South Pembina Lutheran Cemetery, Langdon, ND.
