Lola Laidlaw

Lola E. Laidlaw, 90, of Walhalla, ND passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Park Center-Walhalla Presbyterian Church, Walhalla, ND.
Lola Elizabeth Thompson was born August 9, 1921, near Walhalla, ND to Chester and Connie (Lee) Thompson. She attended school at Walhalla. On November 6, 1939, she married Thomas Laidlaw at Langdon. After their marriage they lived in Walhalla. Thomas passed away on December 2, 1973. Lola enjoyed planting and tending to her flowers.
Survivors include her children: Darlene (Gary) Flaa, Mandan, ND, Gordy Laidlaw, Walhalla, and Leslie (Ruth) Laidlaw, Fargo, ND; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Connalee (Alan) Chisholm, Mesa, AZ.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; and brothers: Leslie, Glenn, Gordon, and Kenneth Thompson.
