Linda A. Doyle

Linda A. Doyle, 73, of Cavalier, ND, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. A private graveside service will be held at the West Mountain Cemetery.

Linda was born March 23, 1949, in Grafton, ND, to James and Gladys (Solberg) McDonald. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cavalier. On March 7, 1966, she married George “Junie” Doyle, Jr. Linda worked at Salwei’s Fairway and Ault’s Superette. From 1980 – 1995, Linda worked as a CNA at Wedgewood Manor until her health caused her to retire.

Linda loved her family and entertaining them. She kept in close contact with those far away. Some of the things she enjoyed were baking, reading, feeding the birds, flowers, lighthouses, and of course, her California Raisins. In her earlier years she enjoyed cross-stitching and dancing. She attended the Cavalier Evangelical Free Church.

She is survived by her husband, Junie; children: Kevin (Ronda) Doyle, Williams, MN, and Kristi (Jeff) Spangelo, Cavalier, ND; grandchildren: Chelsey (Aaron) Richards, Fargo, ND; Jenna (Nate) Wasvick, Warroad, MN; and Joshua Doyle, Williams, MN; great-grandchildren: Hailey and Lukas Richards, Fargo, ND and Adalynn Wasvick, Warroad, MN; siblings: Joyce (Jack) Trottier, Amherst, OH; Betty Ann Olafson, Fargo, ND; John (Sandy) McDonald, Beaverton, OR.

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Gordon McDonald, Irene Stoffers, Marvin McDonald and George McDonald.
