Lila Flint

Lila Flint, 93, of Cavalier, ND died Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cavalier Baptist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Wednesday, February 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Lila Gregoire was born September 23, 1916, on a farm near Cavalier to Ezra and Victoria (Heller) Gregoire. She grew up in the Cavalier area and graduated from Cavalier High School. Following her graduation she attended Mayville State Teacher College and returned to Cavalier and worked at the local elevator as a bookkeeper.
On June 1, 1947, she married Larry Flint at Crookston, MN. Larry passed away on November 10, 1999.
She enjoyed reading, traveling with her family to destinations in the U.S. and Canada, researching family history, and took an interest in U.N.D. and Cavalier sporting events.
She is survived by her son, Greg Flint, San Clemente, CA.
Also preceding her in death were her parents.
