Lester L Brown

Lester L. Brown, 94, of Walhalla, ND, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Walhalla- Park Center Presbyterian Church, Walhalla. Visitation will be held for one hour before the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Walhalla.
Lester was born April 19, 1923, at Bathgate, ND, to James and Margaret (Rose) Brown. He grew up in the Bathgate area, and attended school at Hensel, ND. Lester then went on to work for Luxury Ice Cream in Cavalier and Walhalla. He also worked for the Grand Forks Creamery for a year. Lester then returned to the Walhalla Area where he farmed, raised cattle, and had a large orchard.
Some of the things Lester enjoyed were gardening and the comradery of deer hunting.
Lester is survived by his brother, Wallace, Walhalla; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Donna Brown.
