Leslie Stremick

Leslie Stremick, 77, of Langdon, ND, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital of Langdon, ND.

Leslie Joseph Stremick was born August 10, 1934 to Charlie and Rose (Schneider) Stremick at Langdon, ND. He was raised and educated in Cavalier County and was a longtime area farmer. Les was united in marriage to Carole Thom on June 15, 1957 and they became the parents of four children. Les was a member of the Langdon Eagles Aerie #3454, the Langdon Country Club and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

Les is survived by his wife: Carole of Langdon; children: Bruce Stremick and Connie Stremick, Langdon, ND, Barbara (Steven) Dettler of Langdon, ND, Bradley (Cynthia) Stremick of Osnabrock, ND, Beverly (Kevin) Phelps of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren: Troy Stremick, Terra (Paul) Medbery, Jill Stremick, Jason Dettler, Alese (Ross) Kohler, Brian Dettler, Nicole (Ryan) Koons, Heather (Kyle) Mikkelsen, Casey Stremick, Alexander Phelps, Zachery Phelps, Miranda Phelps; great grandchildren: Rylee and Hadley Medbery, Ella Dettler, Avery Kohler, Chloe Koons, Brayden Mikkelsen; siblings: Lavona Meyer, Allen (Mary) Stremick, Dale (Sally) Stremick, Rosemary (Kurt) Sando, Ardel Peterson; sister-in-law: Gladys Stremick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Don and Bob, sister Doris Olson, her husband Roger Olson, and brother-in-law Joe Meyer.

VISITATION will take place from 4 to 7pm Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND.

SERVICES Friday, August 19, 2011 at 10:00am at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND.
