Leone C. Kuball, 94 of Fargo, ND and formerly of Cavalier, ND passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, September 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial will be held in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Leone was born October 26, 1922 near Bathgate, ND to Arthur and Jemima (O'Hara) Craig. She grew up in the Bathgate area and graduated from Pembina High School in 1940. Leone then attended Demming Beauty School in Grand Forks, ND. After beauty school, she worked in St. Thomas, ND and then went to work for Alda Austfjord at her salon in Cavalier. Leone then purchased the business and it was then named The Swirl and Leone's Beauty Shop. She sold the business to Janie Pflaum and continued working until her retirement in 1989.
Things Leone enjoyed doing were crocheting, playing cards, gardening, and traveling.
On June 14, 1947, she married Elmer E. Kuball at the First United Methodist Church in Cavalier. Elmer passed away August 1, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters: Kathy (Rick) Carik, Fargo, ND., Colleen (Harlee) Fehr, Cavalier, ND; grandchildren: Meghan (Dan Walsh) Carik, Mike Carik, and James (Laura) Fehr; great-granddaughter, Madeline Fehr; sister-in-law, Nettie Craig, and many nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Jeff Kuball; brothers: Leslie, Kermit, Joe, and Bill Craig; sisters, Elda Corbett, Olive Younggren, and Vida Gunderson.
