Leonard Gapp

Leonard Gapp, 88, of Walhalla, ND, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012, at Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo, ND. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. A burial will be held at the St. Boniface Catholic Cemtery, Walhalla, ND.
On April 26, 1924, he was born to August and Barbetta (Bodensteiner) Gapp near Walhalla. He grew up in the Freemont Township and farmed with his brother.
Surviving him are several cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Anna Gapp, Mathilda Gapp, Sister Mary Rogene Gapp, and Sister Barbetta Gapp; and brothers, Joseph, John, Edward, and Herbert Gapp.
