Leland M. Bailly, 67, of Grafton and Cavalier, ND, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at his home in Grafton, ND, surrounded by his loved ones. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Grafton. Visitation will be held for one hour before the time of service at the church.
Leland was born June 1, 1949, to Marcel and Anna (Harildstad) Bailly at Grafton, ND. He grew up in Cavalier and graduated from Cavalier High School in 1967. He then went on to attend Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND. After college, Leland worked for A.H. Implement in Grafton and in 1992, began working at Carquest in Cavalier.
Some of the things he enjoyed was cooking, puzzles, gardening, and mowing. Leland was a very thoughtful, compassionate and caring man who was always thinking about others before himself. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He will be greatly missed.
Leland is survived by his brothers: Dawn (Pat) Bailly, Grafton, ND, Richard (Sharon) Bailly, Champlin, MN, Clifford (Mary) Bailly, Grafton, ND, Raymond Bailly, Casa Grande, AZ, Verlyn (Diane) Bailly, Spokane, WA, Ernie (Kathy) Bailly, Cavalier, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and niece, Angie.
