Laura Hildebrant

Laura Hildebrant, age 97, of Cavalier, ND died on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 29, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Laura Kihne was born January 4, 1913, near Cavalier, ND to Fred and Florence (Webb) Kihne. She grew up and attended school in the Cavalier area.
On March 28, 1933, she married Malcome J. Hildebrant at Cavalier. After their marriage they farmed in the Cavalier area, after their retirement they moved into Cavalier. Malcome died on May 6, 1989.
She was a member of the Dorcas Circle at Trinity United Methodist and the Cavalier Senior Citizens Center. Laura loved spending time with her family, quilting, cooking, and playing cards.
Survivors include her daughters, Delma Hartz, Ruth Ann (Dennis) Thom, and Jane (Ronald) Falk, all of Cavalier; daughter-in-law, Judy Hildebrant, Cavalier; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, son, Robert Hildebrant; son-in-law, Lloyd Hartz; and siblings, Dewey Kihne, Mary Barager, Sanford Kihne, Hattie Trottier, Pearl Drake, Ruth Kihne, Fred, Harvey, and Howard Kihne.

Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Hartz, Scott Jobe, and Mike Marlin.
Casket Bearers: Allan Cull, Michael Cull, Christopher Falk, Keith Hartz, Rodger Hartz, and Bob McFadden.
