Lance D. Waters Sr.

Lance D. Waters Sr., 57, of Walhalla, ND passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. A Life Celebration will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla.
Lance D. Waters was born November 13, 1958 to Lyle Sr. and Elaine (Hanson) Waters in Montevideo, MN. He grew up in Montevideo and graduated from New Rockford High School in 1977. After graduation, he worked for Ecusta in Walhalla for many years and Motor Coach Industries in Pembina, ND.
On September 6, 1980, he married Joanie Jerome-Dietz in Walhalla. Things he enjoyed were playing pool, bonfires, whiskey, home projects with his family, cooking, watching wrestling, the Green Bay Packers and being with family, especially during the holidays.
Survivors include his wife, Joanie; children: Jason Jerome, Tawny Dietz, Lance Jr. (Melissa) Waters, Amber (Francis) Bierman; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; father, Lyle Waters Sr.; siblings: Lyndon (Carol) Waters, Lonnie (Meladee) Waters, Lori (Darrold) Schweitzer, Lisa Feil (David Hoffarth), Lee Waters, Lana (Mike) Waters-Hayes, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Elaine, and brother, Lyle Waters Jr.
