Lance Gjesdal

Lance Gjesdal, 37,of Grafton, ND and formerly of Nekoma, ND passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Unity Medical Center is Grafton, ND.

Lance Lee Gjesdal was born May 2, 1971 at Devils Lake, ND. Lance spent the first five years of his life at home on the family farm outside Nekoma, ND. He then moved to the Developmental Center in Grafton, ND until his passing away. Lance had a very happy life in Grafton where he made many friends and touched many lives. Lance was a special person who enjoyed all that his special life had to offer and made other people happy by his presence.

Lance is survived by his parents: Karen (Gary) Haraseth, of Langdon, ND, and Orris (Lorretta) Gjesdal of Arvada, CO; sisters: Tamera Gjesdal (Shawn O'Brien) of Winston Salem, NC, Kerna Borho, Stacey (David) Roy, and Sherri (Mark) Romfo all of Langdon, ND; nephews Bret and Cale Borho, Jace, Nic, and Matthew Roy, Mason Romfo, as well as all of his special family and friends from the Developmental Center.

Lance was preceded in death by his grandparents: Olive Ryan, Raymond Kern, Martin Gjesdal, and Hilda Gjesdal

SERVICES will be held on Sunday December 7, 2008 at 1:45 pm at the Chapel of the Developmental Center in Grafton, ND with visitation for one hour before the time of the services on Sunday.
