Kenneth W. LeTexier, 50, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away Friday, June 19, 2015, near Walhalla, ND. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Manvel, ND. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the St. Joseph's Hall in Leroy, ND. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.Burial will be held in the Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN.
Kenneth Wayne LeTexier was born August 1, 1964, at Cavalier, ND to Eugene and Janet (Fulsaas) LeTexier. He grew up in the Leroy area and graduated from Walhalla High School. While in school he worked with his dad in the construction business. Ken enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served on aircraft carriers. He retired from the Navy after 20 years of service.
On June 21, 2014, he married Pam Amundson. His passion for music was evident, establishing a D.J. business called Almost Famous Entertainment. Kenny also enjoyed woodworking, camping, and motorcycling.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; children: Sara (Jesus) Ramos-LeTexier and Katherine LeTexier, all of Chesapeake, VA, Parker Forschen, Grand Forks, ND; step-children: Madison and Austin Gerszewski; mother, Janet LeTexier, Walhalla, ND; siblings: Lori Johnson, Walhalla, Sandy LeTexier (Greg Gunsch), South Saint Paul, MN, Jeff (Noelle) LeTexier, Indian Trail, NC, Kelly (Mary) LeTexier, Grand Forks, Frank (Wanda) LeTexier, Walhalla; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding him in death was his father, Gene LeTexier.
