Kenneth R. Johnson

Kenneth Ray Johnson, age 53, of Hensel, ND died on Sunday, October 17, 2010, at his home, surrounded by family and friends. He was under the care of hospice. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial in the Andvari Cemetery, Cavalier, ND.
Kenneth Ray Johnson was born August 18, 1957, at Cavalier, ND. to Roy and Laura (Horgdal) Johnson. He attended school in Hensel and Cavalier and later earned his GED.
He worked construction and for farmers throughout the local community. His passions were hunting, fishing, playing pool and cards, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Laura Johnson, Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier; sisters, Janice Ellefson, Mesa, AZ and Marcella (Dennis) Gustafson, Fargo, ND; brother, Randy Johnson, Fargo; two nieces, three nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews; good friends, Lori Baker and Dwight Monsrud.
Preceding him in death was his father, Roy and brother, Loren.
