Kenneth W. Gunlogson

Kenneth W. Gunlogson age 65 of Cavalier, ND. died on Sunday, October 28, 2007, at Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Vidalin Cemetery, Hensel, ND.
Kenneth was born December 14, 1941, at Akra, ND to William and Gudrun (Olafson) Gunlogson. He grew up in Cavalier and graduated from Cavalier High School in 1961. Ken served in the National Guard and later worked at Burkes Bakery, Mayo Construction and the Cavalier Air Force Station. He was a member of the Langdon American Legion Post #98.
On December 12, 1969, he married Doreen Bauer at Hardin, MT.
He is survived by his wife Doreen; children, Loretta Gunlogson, Cavalier, ND; Jana (Joseph) Parish, Millsboro, DE; Melissa (Armando) Rivera, Cavalier, ND; Scott Gunlogson and fiancee (Melissa Garrett) Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Jerrod and Sean Parish; siblings, Arthur (Anita) Gunlogson, Mesa, AZ; Donald Gunlogson, Ivins, UT; Janice (Jack) Brandt, Dana Point, CA.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents.
Clergy: Rev. Beth Peterson.
Casket Bearers: Dave Bolte, Leonard Bernhoft, Kelly Cluchie, Kelly Eaton, Josh Johnson, and Daryl Thompson.
Honorary Pallbearers: Cavalier Air Force Station Personnel.
