Kelvin W. Hiller, 52 of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Walhalla, ND passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla. A gathering of friends will be held Friday, March 18th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at New Hope Fellowship, Langdon, ND. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Walhalla.
Kelvin W. Hiller was born January 20, 1964 in Cavalier, ND to Hughie and Lorraine (Denault) Hiller. He grew up in St. Thomas, ND and graduated from Walhalla High School, Walhalla. After high school he worked for Bourbanis Masonry, Motor Coach Industries, Custom Grain Cleaning and for several farmers for beet harvest.
On July 1, 2000, he married Carla Kartes at Walhalla, ND and together they raised 3 children.
Kelvin enjoyed, hunting, trapping, fishing, camping, Sioux Hockey games, going out to eat with friends and family, collecting coins and movies, road trips, motorcycles, the family dog, "Bingo" and studying the Bible. He worked hard helping many people at a moment's notice with odd jobs, custom baling with his favorite old trucks and tractors, horseback riding, making people laugh, and he was also one heck of a great story teller. Kelvin was a loving, caring and helpful friend to everyone. His three daughters were the love and light of his life, he would do anything for them, his mom and brothers. He will be greatly missed
Survivors include his children: Ivy Restemayer, Ellendale, ND, Kia and Koi Hiller both of West Fargo, ND; mother, Lorraine Storey, Grand Forks, ND; brothers: Harry Hiller, Grand Forks, Jeff (Margaret) Hiller, Langdon, ND, Todd (Nora) Storey, Grafton, ND, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Preceding him in death was his father; a premature infant baby from his marriage; step-father, Gordon Storey and his grandparents.
