Kelly Enerson

Kelly Enerson, 61, formerly of Cavalier, ND, died on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at RTA Hospice, Payson, AZ. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cavalier Presbyterian Church, Cavalier, ND. Arrangements with Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Kelly was born October 8, 1947, at Grafton, ND to Andy and Inez (McArthur) Enerson. He farmed with his father for over 30 years in the Hamilton and Cavalier areas, and also sold specialty products during the winter months.
On January 6, 1967, he married Joleen Staples in Cavalier, where they made their home. In 1994, they moved to Arizona and began KDJ's Beauty Mart and Salon in Payson, where he worked as business manager. Kelly also worked at Palm Harbor Homes where he sold manufactured homes. He enjoyed his work and loved visiting with their customers.
He was a member of the Cavalier Presbyterian Church, Elks Lodge, Grand Forks, ND, Moose Lodge and the American Legion in Payson. Kelly also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and visiting with friends.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Joleen, daughter, DaNae (Carl) Cremeens, Casa Grande, AZ, mother, Inez Enerson, Mountain, ND, brothers, Gerald (Annette) Enerson, Fargo, ND, Harvey (Denise) Enerson, Rosemount, MN, and Richard Enerson, Cavalier, ND, sisters, Connie (Rocky) Schumacher, Grand Forks, ND, and Mary Ellen (Dean) Latozke, Neche, ND.
Preceding him in death was his father, Andy, sister, Karen Hannah, and grandparents, Emil and Grace Enerson, and Upton and Hazel McArthur.
