Keith H. Mack

October 4, 1957 — April 4, 2016

Keith Mack, 58, of Langdon, ND passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Keith Henry Mack was born October 4, 1957 in Jamestown, ND to Henry and Elizabeth “Betty” (Dukart) Mack. He went to school in Nekoma and after graduating, attended East Grand Forks Tech. Keith and Pauline Anderson were united in marriage on August 29, 1980 at St. Alphonsus Church in Langdon. Keith worked for a short time at Mark’s Chevrolet in Cando and then, in the early 1980s, started working for D & B Motors of Langdon, ND, where he still worked as an automotive technician. Keith also farmed from 1997 to 2005.

One of Keith’s favorite things was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He loved gardening and shared much of his garden produce with his family. He especially loved when his grandchildren would come to the farm and go to the garden where he could teach them all he could about growing things. Keith and Pauline took great pride in keeping their farm yard looking well-kept and loved when family and friends came to visit. Keith also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He really looked forward to the pheasant hunting trip he would take with his brothers, nephews, and cousins near Zeeland, ND every year. Keith was a former member of Eagles Aerie #3454 and a current member of the Knights of Columbus.

Keith is survived by his wife, Pauline, of Langdon; mother Betty; daughters: Rachelle (Nic) Fetsch of Langdon, Sarah (Josh) Overby of Langdon, and Breanna (Austin Lafrenz) of Langdon; grandchildren: Bensen & Cooper Fetsch and Hallie & Reid Overby; siblings: Kevin (Camille), Karen (Ed) Liebersbach, Kelvin (Karla), Kelly (Karla), Kurtis (Reaba), Kurt (Ann), Kristopher (Christi) and Kori; sister-in-law Audrey (Mark) Erickson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry, brother Kenneth, mother-in-law Alvida Anderson, father-in-law Lloyd Anderson, and brother-in-law Paul Anderson.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 6-7:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with a 6:30 Rosary and 7:00 p.m. prayer service.
