Kathy G. Trottier

Kathy G. Trottier, 60, of Hamilton, ND died on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008, at 1: 30 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Friday, August 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Hamilton Cemetery.
Kathleen G. Berdahl was born August 28, 1947, at Grafton, ND to Charles and June (Ellingson) Berdahl. She grew up in Cavalier, graduating from Cavalier High School in 1965.
On December 27, 1965, she married Thomas Trottier at the United Lutheran Church in Cavalier. They lived in Seattle, Minneapolis, Cavalier, and Hamilton.
She was an avid reader and loved her dog and gardening. Other activities she enjoyed were counted cross stitching, painting, and wood working. Kathy also served on the boards of the Cavalier Public Library and Pembina County Housing Authority.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; daughters, Kimberly (Bryan) Denault and Andrea (Donald "Juno") Pankow all of Warroad, MN; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; parents, Charles and June Berdahl, Cavalier; siblings, Tony (Margaret) Berdahl, Anchorage, AK and Kristin (Ron) Matthews, Wilsonville, OR.
Clergy: Rev. Beth Peterson.
Casket Bearers: Brent Denault, Bert Jackson, Bob Keena, Gary Kemnitz, Doug Kemp, and Ben Trottier.
Music: Christine Hughes, Organist.
