Kathy Dalsted

Kathy Dalsted, 65, of Cavalier, ND passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home in Cavalier. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Kathy Kalis was born August, 25, 1951, at Grafton, ND to James and Marie (Schwartz) Kalis. She grew up in Leroy, ND and attended school there until it was closed. She then graduated from Walhalla High School. Kathy worked at Jack and Jill grocery store in Cavalier in the produce department. She also was a bartender at the No Place Saloon west of Cavalier. Kathy enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding the birds and baking.
Survivors include her sons, Chad Dalsted and Shane Dalsted, both of Cavalier; grandsons, Christian and Ayden; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Gary Kalis.
