Karen McFadden

Karen McFadden, 56, of East Grand Forks, MN formerly of Neche, ND passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be at the church for one hour before the time of services. Interment will be held in the Bruce Cemetery, Neche, ND.
Karen was born June 10, 1960 at Cavalier, ND to James and Helen (Greenwood) McFadden. She grew up in the Neche area and graduated from Neche High School in 1978. Karen attended Century College in the Twin Cities, where she graduated in 2008. She was a counselor at Meridian Behavioral Health Douglas Place in East Grand Forks, MN.
She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Karen was an outgoing person and enjoyed visiting with people. Her favorite quote was "When the student is ready the teacher will appear."
Survivors include her mother, Helen, Cavalier, ND; siblings: Peggy Page, East Grand Forks, MN, Kitty Mullen (Dave Waller) Ft. Myers, FL, Pat (Marge) McFadden, Fergus Falls, MN, Dennis (Maxine) McFadden, Castle Rock, Co, Tom McFadden, Bob (Val) McFadden, all of Cavalier, David (Shelley) McFadden, Highlands Ranch, CO.
Preceding her in death were her father, Jim; sister-in-law, Laurie McFadden; nephew, Aaron McFadden; and a brother and sister in infancy.
