Justin James Kruk

Justin James Kruk, 15, of Langdon, ND, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at the Cavalier County Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Justin was born July 20, 1999 in Devils Lake, ND, to Stoney & Barbara (Cunningham) Kruk. He attended school and graduated from 8th grade at St. Alphonsus Catholic School. He was currently a freshman at Langdon Area High School.

Justin loved sports- watching them and playing them. He was currently on the football team and really enjoyed being part of the team. He was quick-witted and a very social person. He loved classic rock music and knew almost every artist and song that played on the radio. Justin was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

Surviving Justin are his parents: Barbara (Paul) Boesl of Langdon and Stoney (Dawn) Kruk of Langdon; brother Ryan Boesl of Langdon; grandparents: Shan & Kathleen Cunningham of Minot, ND, Floyd & Deanne Boesl of Langdon, Sue & Jerry Reiser of Langdon, Gene Kruk of Langdon, and Dennis & Carol Throndset of Langdon; great-grandparents: Elsie Cunningham of Bakersfield, CA, Dorla & Del Hartford of Montana, and Joe & Gerry Tholkes of Langdon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be held Monday, October 13, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon, ND.
There will be a joint visitation and prayer service for Justin and his friend, Ashley Ratzlaff, on Sunday, October 12, 2014, from 5-7:00 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Langdon Area High School gym.
Interment: Calvary Cemetery - Langdon, ND

The family requests that everyone wear "Cardinal" colors to the services. Overflow seating with video feed for the funeral service on Monday will be in the parish hall across the street from the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Justin Kruk Memorial Fund at FM Bank.
