Juliette A. Lill, 79, of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Langdon, ND passed away December 8, 2008 surrounded by her family at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Juliette Plante was born to Alphonse M. and Rosa (Langevin) Plante on July 6, 1929 at Olga, ND. She grew up on the family farm near Olga and attended school in the area. Julie later moved out to California where she met John J. Lill Jr. and they were united in marriage on March 17, 1949 at Long Beach, CA. The couple later moved back to North Dakota where they made their home and farmed in North Loma TWP. Julie was baptized into the Catholic faith on July 16, 1929 and was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon prior to her relocation to Grand Forks, ND. Julie loved to play card games and bingo with her family and friends.
Julie is survived by her son Kevin (Teri) Lill of Langdon, ND; granddaughters: Mandy (Sam) Held of Langdon, ND, Sarah Lill (Thomas Johnson) of Grand Forks, ND, Savannah Lill (Jeremiah Bailly) of Grand Forks, ND; her great-grandson: Colton Bailly of Grand Forks, ND, as well as several nieces and nephews.Julie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, her brothers: Omer, Hector, and Howard and her sisters: Viola Williams, Delores LePire, Isabelle Murray, Marcella Ellison, Leola Livinggood, and Laurae Neal as well as two infant sisters: Adeline Plante and Florence Plante.Visitation will be held at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND from 4-7 pm on Friday, December 12, 2008.A prayer service will be held at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 7:00 o' clock.Mass of Christian Burial will be at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon, ND on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 10:00 o'clock.Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Langdon, ND.
