Julia B. Klindt age 91 of Whitefish, MT formerly of Wahalla, ND died on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Campbell City Memorial Hospital, Gillette, WY. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Beaulieu Cemetery, Walhalla, ND. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.
Julia Bernice Einarson was born June 30, 1917, at Milton, ND to Olafur and Ethel (Bjarnason) Einarson.
On November 24, 1939, she married John Klindt at Mountain, ND. They farmed in the South Walhalla area and she also taught school there. In 1965, they moved to Whitefish, MT, where she taught school in the Flathead Valley until her retirement. John passed away on May 20, 1972. In 1974, she managed a convenience store for several years until retiring.
She is survived by her children, Josephine (Dennis) Berg, Langdon, ND; Warren (Terri) Klindt, Rozet, WY; daughter-in-law, Lee Klindt; Kalispell, MT; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Edith) Einarson, Columbia Falls, MT; Dennis (Anna) Einarson, Kent, WA; sisters, Beverly (George) Bleakly, Graham, WA; Joyce Tongen, Cavalier, ND; and Doreen (Irvin) Nelson, Edinburg, ND.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, sons, Courtney, Earl, and Johnnie "Curt" Klindt; and five sisters.
Clergy: Rev. Don Swenson
Casket Bearers: Ralph Byron, Wade Klindt, Chris Nelson, Lynn Nelson, Dick Simundson, and Norman Thompson.
Music: Mike and Jacob Gapp, Vocalists and Sharon Siberg, Organist
