Joyce Linde

Joyce S. Linde, 83, of Scituate, RI, formerly of Hanover, MA passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 10:30 a.m.at the Christ Lutheran Church, Neche, ND. Burial will be held in the Union Cemetery, Neche, ND. Arrangements with Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
The daughter of the late Milford Gordon Small and Lillian (Peck) Small, she was born in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, April 7, 1931. Before her retirement, Joyce had been employed as a secretary for the Hanover Building Department. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, good food and gardening. Wife of the late John V. Linde, she was the mother of Laura J. Linde of Stoneham, MA. and Jason J. Linde and his wife Dena of Scituate, RI.; sister of Clifford Small and Cecil Bunny Small both of Canada, and the late Muriel Nicholson, Laura Friesen, Alec Small, Glen Small and Ruth Vosper. She was the sister-in-law of Wesley Vosper of North Dakota; grandmother of Danny, Brynn, Avery and Luke Linde, all of RI.; and many nieces and nephews.
