Joseph Mondor

Joseph Mondor Jr., 69, of Grand Forks, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011, in Sisseton, South Dakota. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, North Dakota. Burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Military Rites by the Bartlette-Resler Post #62, Walhalla American Legion.
Joseph J. Mondor Jr. was born in Langdon, ND, to Joseph and Mary (Lafferty) Mondor. He grew up and attended school in Walhalla. He spent most of his life driving truck, at the time of his death he worked for Britton Transport. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and Texas hold-em. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne, children: Laurie Olson, Joseph Mondor III, both of Grand Forks; Corey Symanietz, St. Cloud, MN; Jennifer Risberg, Danny Inman, and Shelly Radke, all of Grand Forks, 12 Grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his daughter Renee Mondor.
