Joseph Kram, 84, of Osnabrock, ND, passed away April 23, 2014 at Cavalier County Memorial Hospital of Langdon, ND.
Joseph Kram was born on August 27, 1929 to Philip and Katherine (Stremoich) Kram near Dresden, ND. When he was a young boy, Joeââ¬â¢s family moved to the Osnabrock area. He attended country school just south of the farm and graduated from Osnabrock High School in 1947. Joseph married Corrine Verville in February of 1953 in Osnabrock, ND. They lived near Osnabrock on the family farm raising cattle and crops until retiring in 1997. Corrine passed away in November of 2001. Joseph continued living on the farm until 2010 when he moved to Osnabrock Good Samaritan Home. Joseph moved to Pembilier Nursing Center in Walhalla in 2012 and resided there until his passing.
Joseph was a very patient man. He loved music, dancing in his younger days, playing bingo, watching basketball and enjoyed family visits. Joe had a special place in his heart for his dog, Buddy. Joe served several terms on the Osnabrock School Board, and was a member of St. Josephââ¬â¢s Catholic Church of Osnabrock, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon and the Knights of Columbus.
Joseph is survived by his children: Jim (Marilyn) of Fargo, ND, David of East Grand Forks, MN, Scott (Kim) of Aberdeen, SD, Janet (Rick) Agnes of Fargo, ND, and Craig (Vicky) of Osnabrock, ND; grandchildren: Alyssa & Cory Kram, Jessica Kram, Daniel & Matthew Crane, Tracy, Lindsey & Nick Agnes, Jessica Danielson; great-grandchildren: Emmalyn & Weston Hiller; siblings: Betty Gravelle, Katherine Stamm, Maggie Giles, Anna Jean (Jack) Johnson and sister-in-law Dorothy Kram. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Corrine, an infant son, and two brothers, John & Anton.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 28, 2014 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 27 from 3-5 pm with a 4:30 rosary and 5:00 prayer service at Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND. Visitation will also take place one hour prior to service time at the church on Monday.
