John M. Goodoien

John M. Goodoien age 78 of Cavalier, ND. died on Thursday, June 16, 2005, at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 19th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation for one hour before the time of services on Monday. Burial in the Park Center Cemetery, Hoople, ND.
John M. Goodoien was born June 18, 1926, at Devils Lake, ND to Peter and Mina (Bakken) Goodoien. He moved with his family to Hoople where he attended rural school. He farmed his entire life at his Aunt Alma's homestead and also had some farming interests in the Grand Forks area.
He is survived by his brothers, Herman Goodoein and Ivan (Gladys) Goodoein, all of Cavalier, ND., and several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Phyllis Reilly, brothers, Tony and Parnell Goodoien..
