Joan P. Robbins

     Joan P. Robbins, 80, of Cavalier, ND passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cavalier Presbyterian Church, Cavalier, ND. Masks and social distancing will be required.

    Joan was born October 4, 1940, at Great Falls, Montana to Vatis and Vera (Aijala) Page. She grew up in Grand Forks where she graduated from Central High School. Joan then attended the University of North Dakota and then married William Robbins. They moved to Tucson, AZ, where she graduated from the University of Arizona. After moving to Minneapolis, she taught school in Edina and after moving to Cavalier taught at Hamilton and Neche, ND. In 1990, Joan moved to California where she substitute taught and later moved back to Cavalier where she taught Adult Education at the Cavalier Air Force Station.

     She is survived by her sons, Charles (Lori) Robbins, Cavalier, ND and Scott Robbins, Hoople, ND; grandsons: Brady (Bailey), Spencer, and Brock Robbins, and Michael Robbins, and her sister, Sue Birilli, Sun City Roseville, CA.

      Preceding her in death were her parents.
