Jerry Klein

Jerry Klein, 54, of Langdon, ND passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at his home in Langdon.

Jerry was born on August 17, 1958 to Lawrence and Marion (Machart) Klein in Devils Lake, ND. He grew up and attended school in Alsen. After graduation, Jerry attended Lake Region Community College for welding and received his associate’s degree. He worked in Wahpeton and then moved to Jamestown to work for WedgeCor, Inc. until a work-related accident in 2001. Jerry married Lori Werner on October 15, 1985 in Starkweather, ND. Jerry moved to Langdon in 2002 and has resided there since that time. Jerry enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Jerry is survived by his children: Drew and Marcus; siblings: Kevin (Julie) of Cedar Falls, IA, Kent (Barbara) of Arlington, TX, Jay of Minot, ND, Dennis (Darcy) of Grand Forks, ND, Daniel (Diane) of Minot, ND and Lori (Joe) Illerbrunn of Langdon; aunts & uncles: Leonard (Carolyn) Klein, Dwayne (Shirley) Klein, Merril (LouAnn) Klein, Darrol (Marlene) Klein, Alvin (Barb) Klein, Richard (Audrey) Klein, Bonnie (Leland) Sturlaugson, Mary (David) Strand; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, uncles Frank, Don, Harold & Louis, aunts June & Eleanor, and cousin Randy Klein.

A memorial service for Jerry will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel in Langdon, ND. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time.
