Jennifer McLean, 50, of Queen Creek, AZ, and formerly of Hannah, ND, passed away April 28, 2014 in Arizona.
Jennifer was born February 7, 1964 at Rolla, ND, to Robert Dougal and Janet (Gillin) McLean. She was raised at Hannah, ND where she attended school and graduated from Border Central High School in 1982. She went on to the University of North Dakota, majoring in Early Childhood Development. Upon her graduation from UND in 1986, Jennifer moved to Phoenix, AZ. She began her working career in retail with Goldwaters, which eventually changed to Robinson May. She worked there until 2000. She took a position with the Playa del Rey Public School system in 2000. Jennifer went on to further her education at Northern Arizona University, where she earned a Masterââ¬â¢s Degree in Elementary Education in 2004. For the last 14 years, she has taught 1st Grade with the last 11 of those years at August Ranch in Gilbert, AZ.
She truly loved her family and dear friends. She enjoyed going to the movies and had gotten a bug for traveling. Jennifer was a dedicated, caring, and giving educator.
Jennifer is survived by her siblings: Robert McLean of Alexandra, VA; John (Roxanne) McLean of Hannah, ND; Bruce McLean of Stillwater, MN and his children Grace and Grant; Douglas (Erin) McLean and their children Shannon, Maisie, Tessa Lou of Houlton, WI; along with many dear friends and family.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 11:00am, at the Presbyterian Church of Langdon, ND.
