Jeffrey A. Lafferty

Jeffrey A. Lafferty, 50, of Walhalla, ND passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. A prayer service will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation for one hour before the time of services at the church.

Jeffrey Alan Lafferty was born May 25, 1971 at Cavalier, ND to Donald Dean Lafferty and Elizabeth “Betty” Lajimodiere. He grew up and attended school at Walhalla, ND. Jeff then worked at Ecusta and at Johnson Farms from 1992 to 2017. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time by the fire visiting, riding in the hills, and family get togethers. Jeff had an ability and enjoyed making people laugh. He was always willing to help others in any way he could.
On June 18, 2003, he married Stephanie LaPorte at Cavalier, ND, she survives him as do his children: Trey (Dayna) Lafferty and Michael Lafferty, all of Cavalier, ND, Dalton Meader, Grafton, ND, and Mercedez Lafferty, Walhalla, ND, granddaughters: LaShay and Ayanna and grandson, Weston. Also surviving are his parents: Donald (Jane) Lafferty and Betty Lajimodiere; siblings: Mitch Lajimodiere, D.J. Lafferty, Ryan (Alicia) Veer, Tito (Nicole) Romero, Trevor Lafferty, Josh Lafferty, and Wendel Lafferty.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents and uncles and aunts.
