Jean Cook Yeado, 78, of Wahalla, ND passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, December 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Leroy, ND.
Jean was born May 25, 1932, at Walhalla, ND to Fred and Irene (Jorgenson) Lucier. She grew up and attended school in the Walhalla area.
On December 15, 1952, she married Raymond "Toad" Cook in Las Vegas, NV. After their marriage they lived in the Svold area. She then married Bud Yeado on September 29, 1990, in Walhalla. Jean worked at various retail businesses in the area. Jean enjoyed cooking and canning.
She is survived by her children: Bill (Jeanette) Cook, New Salem, ND; Pat (Carol) Cook and Tom Cook, all of Cavalier; Pam Cook, Walhalla; Gloria (Dean) Becker and Glenn Cook, all of Cavalier; and Lori (Bryan) Kalis, Walhalla; grandchildren: Michelle, Chris, Josh, Danny, Jessica, Jake, Cassidy, Courtnie, and Amanda Kalis; and three great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Toad Cook and Bud Yeado; grandson, B.J. Kalis; and sisters: Lorraine Danielson, Gloria Brunette, and Joan Campbell.
