Jean E. Nord

Jean E. Nord, 88, of Pembina, ND passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND, with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pembina Lutheran Church, Pembina, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services.
Jean E. Littlejohn was born October 12, 1921, at Fleece, ND to Humphrey and Lena (Olson) Littlejohn. She grew up in the Drayton area.
On May 2, 1942, she married Thomas Nord at Robin, MN. She worked for Stanley Home Products for over 30 years as a star saleswoman, Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier for 12 years, and with her husband Tom at the Pembina Airport for over 50 years, until the spring of 1997. Jean especially loved cooking for her family and friends and yodeling.
She is survived by her huband, Thomas; son, Terrance Nord, Santa Teresa, NM; grandchildren, Randy Jensen, Kennedy, MN; Justine Nord Cave, Boulder City, NV; Julie Nord, Henderson, NV; several great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Odegard, Pine River, MN and Linda Peters, Tacoma, WA; brothers, Donald, Anaheim, CA; Alfred, Bremerton, WA; Edwin, Spokane, WA; and Robert, Granville, IL.
Preceding her in death were her parents, five brothers, and two sisters.
