JC Kingzett

J.C. Kingzett, 86, of Munich, ND passed away Monday January 1, 2007 at the Heartland Care Center of Devils Lake, ND.

John C. Kingzett was born December 24, 1920 to John Henry and Garnett (Clopper) Kingzett at the Saxton Farm in Bruce Township. He attended the Clyde School graduating in the class of 1939. He attended the North Dakota Agricultural College in Fargo, but his education was put on hold by WWII. J.C. served four years in the European Theatre. He graduated from NDAC in 1949. Donna Shortridge and J.C. were united in marriage on November 25, 1950 at the Glenila Presbyterian Church of Calvin, ND. They lived and farmed three miles west of Clyde. J.C. and Donna moved into Munich in 1981. They were members of the Clyde Methodist Church and later the Langdon United Methodist Church. J.C. served on the State School Board and also the Clyde and Munich School Boards, he was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the American Legion at Clyde and Sarles, a member of the Farm Bureau, the NDSU Teammakers and participated in many bowling leagues.

J.C. is survived by his wife Donna of Munich, ND his daughters Pamela (Duane) Schuler of Munich and Julie (Bill) Schuler of Sheyenne, ND, grandchildren: Andrea (A.J.) Schuler of Fargo, ND, Jennifer Schuler of McVille, ND, Katie Schuler of Fargo, ND, Jeremy (Lisa) Schuler of Langdon along with their family: Brenna Lee Schuler, Leah and Nathan Howatt, sister Lucille Lee of Omaha, NE and Bill (Virginia) Kingzett of Osh Kosh, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles, Alvin and Frank and sister Olive Peterson.

VISISTION 3 to 5:30pm Wednesday January 3, 2007 at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND.

PRAYER SERVICE 7:30pm Wednesday evening at the United Methodist church of Langdon, ND.

SERVICES Thursday January 4, 2007 at 10:30am at the United Methodist Church of Langdon, ND

INTERMENT Clyde Cemetery, Clyde, ND.
