T.J. (Jack) Kibler passed away peacefully at home in Oro Valley, AZ on February 15th.
Jack was born May 30th 1924 in Cavalier, ND to Ernest J. (Tone) and Edna (Roadhouse) Kibler. He was married to Beverly Hendrickson on November 2nd, 1946. They had two sons and lived in Cavalier where Jack had an accounting practice in addition to serving as business manager for Mayo Construction Company.
In 1967 the family moved to Fargo, ND where Jack was a partner in the Fargo Insurance Agency. He retired as President of Fargo Insurance in 1989 after negotiating the sale of the agency to Norwest Bank.
Shortly after retirement, Jack and Bev bought a winter home in Oro Valley, near Tucson, AZ. They enjoyed many years of travelling back and forth between Fargo and Oro Valley, eventually becoming full time Arizona residents. Jack enjoyed golf and was an active member and past president of both the Fargo and Oro Valley Country Clubs.
Jack was a graduate of the University Of North Dakota, and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving with the 58th Wing, 44th Bomb Group from 1942 to 1945 in the Asian Pacific theatre.
He is survived by his only sibling, Georgia Stenslie of Devils Lake, ND, his wife Beverly and son Paul (Ruth Ann) of Omaha, NE, in addition to two grandchildren, Jeremy (Angela) and Allison Kibler, both of suburban Minneapolis, and a great- grandson Jackson. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas of Phoenix, AZ.
A memorial service will be held at the Askew Funeral Home in Cavalier at 11:30 am Saturday, June 16th.
