Ivan Blada

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior at the Jensen-Askew Funeral home in Cavalier, North Dakota.

Ivan D Blada was born July 16, 1937 and died after a battle with cancer on July 8, 2011 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital.
Ivan was born in Newberg North Dakota to Edward and Elnora Blada. Ivan lived in the Newberg area until he moved to Cavalier North Dakota in 1993 where he made is home with his wife Pat.
Ivan began his trucking career at the age 12 by hauling gravel. He started Blada Trucking and continued trucking until his retirement in 2008.
Ivan enjoyed working around the farm, gardening,and hunting. Ivan was happiest when he was in his boat fishing. Ivan is survived by his wife Pat, his children and step children, extended family and friends.
