Irene Berg

Irene Romfo was born June 13, 1913, at Vang, ND., to Helgert and Mathilda (Frovarp) Romfo. She grew up and attended school in the Vang area.

On December 1, 1937, she married Otto E. Berg at Walhalla, ND. After their marriage they lived for a short time in Seattle, then returned to the Vang area where they farmed. In 1954, they moved into Walhalla. Otto E. Berg died on November 27, 1981.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Josephine) Berg, Langdon, ND., grandson, Darryl (Tina) Berg and children, Alex, Ari, Drew, and Aric; granddaughter, Debbie (Mike) Gapp and children, Jacob and Jesse; grandson, Bradley (Laurie) Berg and daughter, Amanda, granddaughter, Becky Berg.

Irene was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Harlen, grandson, Dennis Joe, and brothers, Clarence, Harvey, and Orvin Romfo.
