Inga Borghild Skjervheim

Inga Borghild Skjervheim, at the age of 98, December 27, 2006 at Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND surrounded by her family.

Inga was born December 30, 1907 near Hazelton, ND to Ole and Olene (Ostby) Iverson and Baptized there May 16, 1908. She married Obert Skjervheim May 2, 1927 at Crookston, MN. They made their home near Loma, ND. There she was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church. These past many years she had been a member of Faith Lutheran in Hampden, ND.

Inga is survived by: her sons, Burnell (Renae), Langdon, ND and Donald of Alsen, ND; daughter Mavis (Mrs. Charles Van Matre) of Longmont, CO; daughter-in-law Joyce Skjervheim, Langdon, ND, brothers, James (Marge), Salem, OR and Olaf (Louise), Bagley, MN; sisters, Eva Braaten, Loves Park, IL and Lenora Rutledge, Big Sandy, MT; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Obert, son LeRoy, four sisters and three brothers.

VISITATION from 5 to 7pm Friday December 29, 2006 at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon. Visitation will also take place for one hour before the time of the services at the church on Saturday.
