Harry W. Short

Harry W. Short, a 40 plus year resident of Concord, Cali., passed away peacefully on March 1, 2016 in California.

Harry was born September 8, 1935 in Grand Forks, ND. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1958 and was drafted into the US Army. He served honorably from 1958 to 1960 including being stationed one year in Germany.

Harry’s interests included Mother Earth and history, which led him to become an engineering geologist, an avid photographer, writer, and genealogist.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Delores Prince Short, and their son, Mark. He will be remembered by many wonderful family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 18, 2016 at Soper Cemetery near Fairdale, ND with Pastor Judy Banwart officiating. Fellowship will follow at the Pain Reliever in Nekoma, ND (212 Main Street).
