Grace Dauhpanias

Grace Dauphanias, age 74, of Walhalla, ND, died on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the Pembilier Nursing Center of Walhalla. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. There will be a rosary service on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Grace Lafferty was born October 13, 1933, at Walhalla, ND to Edward and Margaret (Venne) Lafferty. She grew up in the Walhalla area where she attended school.
On April 23, 1951, she married Percy Dauphanias at Crookston, MN. After their marriage they lived at Walhalla. Grace did seasonal work for Karel Farms and later tended bar at the Leroy Bar. She enjoyed, sewing, baking, camping, fishing, and dancing. Percy died on September 18, 1995.
She is survived by her daughter, Leona (Reg) Wieler, Cavalier, ND; grandchildren, Carla Howatt, Robby and Lance Wieler; nine great grandchildren; sister, Linda (Robert) Fedorcyzk, Tom River, NJ.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Donnie; grandson, Jeremy; a brother in infancy, and other siblings, Larry Lafferty and Faye Pepple.
