Gordon E. Kollack

Gordon E. Kollack, 73, of Neche, ND passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church, Neche, ND. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial will be held in the Union Cemetery, Neche, ND.
Gordon was born April 21, 1940, at Neche, ND to William Jr. and Elizabeth (Wall) Kollack. After graduating from Neche High School in 1958, he attended the Hanson Mechanical Trade School in Fargo, graduating in 1960. From 1963 to 1969, he served in the North Dakota Army National Guard. He then farmed and did mechanical work in the Neche area.
He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, reading, Allis tractors, cars, and motorcycles, a good meal, blue grass music, and early morning coffee with his friends.
Survivors include his family and several friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, and brother, Roy.
