Glenn A. Berg age 63 of Walhalla, ND died on February 28, 2007 in Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Walhalla, ND.
Glenn A. Berg was born April 20, 1943, at Grafton, ND to Norris and Elva (Dalzell) Berg. He grew up near Walhalla and attended the Colburn Country School, later attending the Walhalla Public School. Glenn worked for various farmers in Pembina and Walsh Counties and at the present time was employed by A.H. Newman Inc. Trucking.
On December 27, 1997, he married Kathy Torgerson at Big Pembina Lutheran Church, near Langdon, ND.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Allen (Coral) Berg, Johnstown, ND; Bryan Berg, Walhalla, ND; Craig Berg, Hillsboro, ND; Daryl (Brenda) Berg, Caledonia, ND; Francine (Steve) Gaber, Moorhead, MN; Heather Berg; Mayville, ND; and Elva Berg, Walhalla, ND; stepchildren, Michael McGlothlin, Bremerton, WA; Trisha McGlothlin, Ontario, OR; and Megan McGlothlin, St. Thomas, ND; 11 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Carpenter, Walhalla and Mabel Stegman, Cavalier, ND.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ivan Berg.
Clergy: Rev. Dan Pageler and Rev. Don Swenson.
Casket Bearers: Curtis Berg, Keith Berg, Danny Carpenter, John Carpenter, Gary Stegman, and Mark Stegman.
Honorary Pallbearers; All of Glenn's other nieces and nephews.
