Gerry Baldock

Gerald L. "Gerry" Baldock age 76 of Pembina, ND died on Saturday, October 29, 2005, at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pembina State Museum, Pembina, ND. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1st from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Pembina Pioneer United Methodist Church. Burial in the Hunter Cemetery, Hunter, ND.
Gerald Lee Baldock was born July 11, 1929, at Hunter, ND to Joe and Linnea (Ingnell) Baldock. He grew up and attended school in Hunter. Gerry farmed near Blanchard, ND and worked at a lumber mill in Oregon. He was also employed at NDSU, the City of Hunter, and the Good Samaritan Center, Arthur.
On July 16, 1976, he married Linda Bahl at Arthur, ND. In 1993, they moved to Iowa, he was employed at Tabor Manor, Tabor, IA. In 1997, they moved to Pembina and he worked at the Pembina State Museum.
Gerry was a former member of the Hunter United Methodist Church. He was a current member of the Pembina United Methodist Church, Odd Fellows where he served as a Grand Officer, and the Fort Pembina Historical Society.
He is survived by his wife, Rev. Linda Baldock, brother, Bill Baldock, Hunter, sister, Joanne (Wayne) Blanchard, Fargo, ND, father and mother-in law, Ronald and Doris Bahl, Appleton, MN, brother and sister-in laws, Jim (Sherolyn) Bahl, Appleton, MN, Glenn (Vickie) Bahl, Marysville, WA, David (Kim) Bahl, Eden Prairie, MN, Wanda (Larry) Hanson, Hanley Falls, MN, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Gerry was preceded in death by his parents.
