Geraldine "Dolly" Schwartz

Geraldine "Dolly" Schwartz, 88, of Grafton, ND and formerly of Hensel, ND passed away Monday, October 13, 2014, at the Lutheran Sunset Home, Grafton, ND. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Wednesday October 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held Thursday for one hour before the time of services. Burial will be held in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Crystal, ND.
Geraldine was born August 25, 1926 to Andrew and Alma (Ivesdal) Widme on the family farm, near Crystal, ND. She attended school in Hensel, ND. On December 29, 1948, Geraldine married Leonard Schwartz in Grafton, ND. He passed away April 14, 2002. Dolly loved her God, her family and enjoyed spending time making her yard beautiful.
Survivors include her daughters: Sandy (Jerry) Abbott, Austin, TX, Roberta (Robert) Henderson, Conroe, TX, Vicki (Elmer) Muth, Pheonix, AZ; grandchildren: James Henderson, Kristy Scott, Sondra Ragains, Teresa Pearson, Tim Muth, Jonathan Muth, Jared Abbott and Andrea Abbott; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Leonard "Lenny" Schwartz; infant grandson, Timothy Keith Elmer Ragains; brothers: Lloyd and Gerald "Bud" Widme.
